In September 2003, after spending twenty-six years working for major law firms in Baltimore, Boston, and Worcester, and for one of the largest multinational corporations in the world, I moved to a small town on Cape Cod and hung out the proverbial shingle. Why? Because I wanted to do the following:

1. Give individuals and businesses the opportunity to obtain at affordable rates the same high quality legal services I previously provided large corporate clients by tailoring my services to fit their unique needs and budgets and working in partnership to accomplish their objectives at the least possible cost to the client.


2. Help small firms and solo practitioners level the civil litigation playing field in litigation against large, well-heeled corporate law firms by allowing them to obtain through outsourcing all the benefits of high quality, value-added brief writing, editing, research, and litigation services with none of the drawbacks entailed in hiring full-time staff.


3. Practice law in a way that reflects my values: speak the truth with love, respect the dignity and worth of each individual, and believe that the forces of justice will triumph in the end because they are right and good.

In a practice that reflects my values, I provide effective and responsive representation for individuals and small businesses in several areas of the law for clients in the Cape Cod area. These areas include civil litigation, general business law issues (contract drafting, setting up corporations and LLCs, promissory notes), divorce, trademark, and estate planning. My strength is in factually complex litigation matters. If a matter requires expertise I don't have, I will try to refer you to a lawyer who does. If I think a matter will cost more in terms of legal fees than it is worth on a risk/reward basis, I won't hesitate to tell you.
