Massachusetts Civil Litigation Attorney
My strength as an attorney is in factually complex litigation. I have worked with large multinational corporations and businesses on their civil litigation concerns for over four decades. My Massachusetts and Cape Cod-based law office offers legal representation for a number of litigation matters affecting small business and individuals. I offer clients a no-frills approach to legal representation and believe legal counsel can economize without compromise. My legal practice reflects these values.
I represent small, closely held business and individuals with various legal matters, including the following:
- Real estate litigation, including landlord-tenant (commercial and residential leases), easements, summary process (evictions)
- Construction contract litigation
- Unfair and deceptive trade practices (Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act, also known as Chapter 93A)
- Breach of contract litigation
- Fraud, misrepresentation and deceit
Uncontested Divorce
My experience in complex business litigation gives me the skills to effectively handle uncontested divorces and contested divorces involving disputes about the division of property and debt. When a marriage ends, it is often akin to the dissolution of a business partnership. Property and assets need to be divided accurately. If your divorce needs involve children, I am able to make referrals to qualified attorneys. One of my strengths is in representing clients who are dealing with modification of alimony. In Massachusetts, alimony does not automatically end when an ex-spouse remarries. I help clients file complaints for modification in the event of a material change in financial circumstances of the parties.
